OUR IMPACT
Our Impact on the Recovery Community in Central Minnesota
Since our founding in 2014, Recovery Community Network (RCN) has been dedicated to making a lasting impact in Central Minnesota. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Recovery Community Organization (RCO), we leverage grassroots efforts, strategic partnerships, and community collaboration to support individuals and families in recovery.
Here’s how we make a difference:
Building Recovery Resources and Expanding Services
RCN is committed to mobilizing resources both within and beyond the recovery community. Through our partnerships and funding support, we have expanded services that directly address the needs of those on the path to recovery. Our largest funding contribution comes from the State of Minnesota, allowing us to offer innovative programs that include:
-
Peer Recovery Support: Weekly outreach to over 284 peers through Telephonic Recovery Support, plus individual 1-on-1 recovery coaching to more than 111 persons.
-
Training Certified Peer Recovery Specialists: Free Recovery Coach Academies that train peers to become Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, empowering them to lead and support others.
-
Financial Assistance Programs: Over $25,000 in Good Samaritan Grants and Peer Emergency Assistance to help peers meet basic needs and overcome barriers to recovery.
Collaborations and Partnerships for Broader Impact
We collaborate closely with Minnesota Recovery Connection (MRC) for project oversight and administrative assistance, amplifying our effectiveness in providing recovery services. Our partnerships ensure that the recovery community receives vital support, from access to Naloxone kits to mental health resources and educational outreach.
